Description

Cultural treasure trove.

The Louvre Museum is the French capital's largest and most important museum. It's one of the greatest cultural institutions in the world, attracting almost 10 million visitors each year.
The museum houses close to 35,000 works, including Western art from the Medieval period to 1848, but also applied arts and items from ancient and oriental civilisations.
As you wander through the various wings of the Louvre, you can admire masterpieces such as the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, the Vénus de Milo and the Raft of the Medusa.
